We have a rare opportunity to support and promote such priorities as we consider new team members for our Finance and Philanthropy teams. CTNC is currently seeking to fill three positions for the roles of Director of Finance and Administration, Finance and Administrative Associate, and Philanthropy Associate and Database Manager.

Director of Finance and Administration

Position Summary: CTNC seeks a highly motivated candidate who reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for the finance and accounting, human resources (HR), information technology (IT), and general administration functions. The Director of Finance and Administration works closely with other CTNC departmental directors in leading the organization.

Essential Experience

  • BA/BS in accounting or business function required. MAcc, MBA, CPA, and/or CMA strongly preferred.
  • Ten or more years of full‐charge accounting experience required. A minimum of five years of nonprofit fundlevel
    accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated advanced level experience in Financial Edge or similar financial software and Raiser’s Edge or
    other donor database software strongly preferred. Advanced level experience with Sage Intacct a big plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to retrieve, analyze and synthesize information to create accurate reports and lists.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. High degree of focus and attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook required.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range $60,000‐$65,000 depending on experience. Current benefits include health, HSA contribution, 403(b)
match, long‐term disability, 9 paid holidays plus 3 floating holidays, as well as vacation, sick, and personal paid leave.

Finance and Administrative Associate

CTNC seeks a highly motivated candidate who reports to the Director of Finance and Administration and is
responsible for day‐to‐day accounting and finance functions, human resources, and office administration.
This Finance and Administrative Associate works closely with the Philanthropy Department to ensure timely and
accurate recording and reconciliation of all gifts. Non‐profit experience incorporating collaboration with
Philanthropy functions is desirable.

Essential Experience, Technical Skills and Competencies

  • BA/BS or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated advanced level experience in Financial Edge or similar financial software and Raiser’s Edge or
    other donor database software strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to retrieve, analyze and synthesize information to create accurate reports and lists.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. High degree of focus and attention to detail.
  • 1‐3 years of accounting experience, preferably working in the nonprofit environment.
  • High proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook required.

Philanthropy Associate and Database Manager

Position Summary: CTNC seeks a highly motivated candidate who reports to the Director of Philanthropy and who plays an important role in day-to-day philanthropy functions to maximize financial support to CTNC.  The Philanthropy Associate and Database Manager is responsible for managing the Raiser’s Edge fundraising and constituent management database including data entry and integrity, analysis and report generation. A migration of data to the Raiser’s Edge NXT system is anticipated and this position will manage that data migration, including data cleansing, in its entirety.  The Philanthropy Associate and Database Manager holds primary responsibility for maintaining CTNC’s database to ensure accurate, appropriate, and timely gift processing; acknowledgement, reporting and reconciliation of gifts and donor prospect tracking. This position will also hold key responsibilities in the direct mail, membership renewal, on-line and recurring gift campaigns throughout the fiscal year.   This position is responsible for contributing to event management, managing direct mail and on-line fundraising appeals, running fundraising and financial reports and creating lists for mailings.

  • Demonstrated advanced level experience in Raiser’s Edge or similar donor database software
  • Demonstrated ability to retrieve, analyze and synthesize information to create accurate reports and lists.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. High degree of focus and attention to detail.
  • 2-5 years of philanthropy experience in the nonprofit environment.
  • High proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
