About Us
Since 1983, TLC has permanently protected more than 13,000 acres of the most important open spaces in the Triangle region. Our protected lands include nature preserves open for public outdoor recreation, working and historic farms, wildlife habitat preserves, timberlands, urban gardens, and public park lands. These lands sustain our communities in so many ways: keeping water clean and air pure, supporting local farms, providing habitat for wildlife and places for people to connect with nature. We are creating a green legacy for the Triangle.
