About Us

Blue Ridge Conservancy (BRC) was created from the historic merger of Blue Ridge Rural Land Trust and High Country Conservancy. With more than 15,000 acres protected and over 20 years of combined conservation experience, BRC brings a rich and successful history of protecting our region’s natural and cultural heritage. Whether it is for working farms, healthy forests, clean rivers and streams, beautiful mountain ridges, or abundant wildlife, BRC is ready to work with willing landowners to protect our cultural heritage and natural environment.
