Join a NC Youth Conservation Corps Weekend Crew this fall!
The North Carolina Youth Conservation Corps is recruiting crew members (ages 14-18) who will will work with nine other crew members and two highly-trained leaders to complete high-priority conservation projects on nature preserves in Raleigh and Butner, NC this fall. Project work will include trail construction and maintenance, invasive plant removal, and trash cleanup.
Participants can choose either the weekend of October 6-8 OR October 13-15 (Friday 4:00 pm to Sunday 5:00 pm).
Participants will receive 15 hours of community service and a $100 stipend.
-Supplies and food for two nights of overnight tent camping will be provided at Falls Lake State Recreational Area.
-Project work will benefit the Army Corps of Engineers and the Tar River Land Conservancy.

NCYCC Weekend Drop-off
NCYCC Crew Members will meet on Friday, October 6 OR October 13 (depending on your CREW team) at 4:30 at the Kerr Family Y, 2500 Wakefield Pines Drive, Raleigh,NC 27614. There will be a brief registration and orientation promptly at 4:30. Parents are welcome, but not required, to attend a short parent meeting at 4:45.
NCYCC Weekend Pick-Up
NCYCC CREW members will be brought back to the registration site at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Participants must be picked up or plan to depart from the registration site.
