Future Leaders of Conservation is an advisory board comprised of young adults across North Carolina brought together to assist CTNC’s mission to connect young adults and emerging leaders with conservation organizations, issues, and policies impacting North Carolina.

The FLOC (pronounced like a “flock” of birds) is a diverse group, each with our own viewpoint on conservation issues: from policy and legislation, to farmland preservation, to recreation, to clean water and climate change issues.

We host biannual events designed to connect young adults with each other to amplify conservation initiatives across various industries. These “Conservation for All” events provide networking opportunities and allow FLOC to spread CTNC’s efforts to connect North Carolinians of all backgrounds with the outdoors.

Looking to connect with other young professionals who are passionate about conservation? Or want to learn more about CTNC’s role in saving the places you love? Come join us at an upcoming Conservation for All event and join our conversation online. We’d love to hear from you!

Who are we? Meet the Board.
