Must See T.V. TonightTune in for TV Program on Conservation in North CarolinaWRAL is airing a documentary tonight entitled Focal Point: "Green Acres" at 7:00 p.m. on WRAL-TV and WILM-TV. It will also air August 26 at 9:30 p.m. in Charlotte. The documentary features NC land trust work as part of an overview of open space development and conservation efforts in North Carolina. The show will repeat on WRAL digital news channel 256 on cable and will be accessible on the WRAL website through a high speed connection Reid Wilson, Conservation Trust for North Carolina Executive Director, and Kevin Brice, Triangle Land Conservancy Executive Director, are two of several conservation leaders interviewed in the documentary. Land trusts were featured in the story because of the important work they are doing to preserve clean drinking water, wildlife habitat, working farms and forests, scenic views, and outdoor recreational opportunities.
