The Blue Ridge Parkway: The Long Range View

The Conservation Trust partnered with the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy to host the 5th annual reception and benefit fundraiser at the Blue Spiral I Gallery in Asheville to raise funds to preserve North Carolina’s Appalachian landscape. More than 130 people attended the September 27th event, raising more than $40,000.
Blue Spiral 1Gallery featured the art exhibit, “The Blue Ridge Parkway: The Long Range View.” A percentage from each sale of art in the exhibit is being generously donated to the two land trusts.
The Conservation Trust extends its deepest thanks to the
commitment and dedication of the hosts and hostesses, our
Blue Ridge Society Members. They are a dedicated and generous
group of citizens interested in preserving the land that
has sustained and defined Western North Carolina for generations.
