The Conservation Trust has partnered with land trusts and government agencies to protect more than 28,000 acres of valuable lands in over 30 locations along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Conservation Trust is currently negotiating conservation agreements and acquisitions to protect an additional 6,000 acres along the Parkway. These protection efforts are saving some of the most dramatic scenic views and natural lands along this historic and fragile ribbon of parkland in North Carolina.
